Had a wonderful figure painting workshop at The Ryder Studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico - a really great way to begin the new year. Our model Arzélie was incredibly inspiring and the students were a joy to work with. Many thanks to each and all who were a part of this experience.
I hope to have a few more workshops in the meantime, but on the horizon is my Summer in Paris figure drawing class(es) with Studio Escalier - Info & application is online (Priority deadline is February 1st).
France
Another Summer
Summer has come and gone - not quite sure where it went?
It feels like I've done a lot, but I don't have much to show for it. Fortunately, my creative momentum continued through months of teaching in France. I want to thank all my students and friends, from both Argenton Chateau & Paris, for a great experience this summer while working with Studio Escalier.
In the meantime, I have been cultivating a number of ideas, so I'll be pursuing their physical/visual manifestation in the coming months at NYAA.
I'm eager to get back into the studio!
Group Exhibition at Brackenwood Gallery in Langley
Opening (Novemeber 1st) from 5-7pm at Brackenwood Gallery. Alongside several other Whidbey Island artists, I will be showing a number of (non studio related) painting sketches & meditations that I did (predominantly) while with Studio Escalier in Argenton Chateau, France this Summer.
The show, Pieces of Life, runs until December 1st
